Make certain your bong is filled (with water) to the suitable levelbong stem previous to you let any person smoke from it. If the chamber is too full, you're going to get bong water on your lips each time you take a hit. (Bong irrigate tastes nasty!) Also, when you fill the bong too far above the ground, you run the risk of having water rise up the stem (Figure 3.3) and soak your weed.
Not sufficient water is also a difficulty. The water's exterior should be at smallest amount one inch above the bottom of the stem. When the water height is too low, the smoke will not be cooled or filtered appropriately. Both of these circumstances are reason for harsher hits.
